Youth Climbing Groups




Our youth climbing programs have been developed to teach kids the proper climbing skills in a fun and challenging environment.

Groups will meet twice a week on either Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday after school. In addition to training, climbers will participate in in-house competitions at the end of each 8-week session.

Boulder Monkeys: Ages 4 - 8 yrs old


Our Boulder Monkey groups are designed to introduce kids to Rock Climbing in a fun and exciting environment. With small group sizes and experienced coaches our Boulder Monkey Groups combine exercise, team building, and problem solving skills.

Dyno Goats: Ages 8 - 12 yrs old

The Dyno Goat teams will target kids between the ages of 8 - 12 years old. The teams will meet twice a week for 1 ½ hours with a dedicated climbing coach. These sessions are intended to allow the climbers to learn rock climbing skills and help them advance as climbers. At the end of each 8 week session climbers will compete in a showcase to highlight new skills.

Crags Team: Ages 12 - 18 yrs old


Crag Team Climbers will meet twice per week for 2 ½ hours. A coach is assigned to each team for the duration of the 8 week session. Climbers will be grouped based on experience level and age and will practice individual climbing skills as designed by their climbing coach. The Crag Teams will compete in house against other Crag Teams of similar skill levels.

The Crags Team coaches will design specific practice plans based on the individuals on each team. For the more skilled climbers practices are design to challenge participants to improve their skills with each session. For the more casual climber practices are designed to be a fun way to get great exercise in a fun and exciting environment

Competitive Climbing Teams
Our Competition Teams will include the top youth climbers in the gym that are interested in competing at a higher level. The competition teams will train 3 days per week with a dedicated coach and will travel to USA Climbing Competitions around the area.
Selection of the Competition Teams will be done through a tryout process, it is expected that the competition team is selected from kids in our Crags Team Program.
